1. The definition of Single drawn, Double drawn, and Super double drawn hair

Remy Human hair is divided into 3 main levels of quality grade:

Single-drawn hair (SD): About 50% of a single-drawn  hair bundle is in the same full length, the rest is shorter. It causes the hair bundle to be thinner at the ends and become tapered in the middle and fullest at the top.

Double-drawn hair (DD): About 70 – 75% of a double drawn  hair bundle is in the same full length, and the rest is shorter. Of course, a bundle of double-drawn  hair will look fuller than a single-drawn  hair, especially at the end of the bundle.

Super double-drawn  hair (SDD): About 90 – 95% of a double-drawn  hair bundle is in the same full length, and the rest is shorter. Super double-drawn  hair is suitable for girls who want thick hair.

With the above information, it is easy to predict that a double-drawn  hair bundle will cost less than a bundle of super double-drawn  hair and higher than a bundle of single-drawn  hair.

2. Tips to identify single drawn, double drawn and super drawn  hair

The two simplest ways to identify the hair bundles are single, double-drawn  hair or super double-drawn  hair are distinguished by eyes and through touching.

2.1. Identify by eyes

With this hair check, to determine these above 3 grades of  hair, you should observe and compare the top and the ends of the hair.

If the ends of the hair look noticeably thinner than the top and have lots of strands that aren’t the same length, you can say it’s single-drawn.

It is double drawn  hair if the difference between the ends and the top of the hair is not too noticeable.

If the top and ends of the hair have the same thickness, it is super double-drawn  hair.

This check is usually easier to apply to  natural straight,  bone straight or  wavy hairs. For voluminous hair such as bouncy, deep curly, deep wavy, it is quite difficult to detect the difference between the ends of the hair and the top.

2.2. Identify by touch

If you can check your hair by touching it directly, there are at least 2 ways you can try, which is swiping the hair from the top to down and holding the hair horizontally and bending it:

Swiping the hair from the top: hold the whole bundle of hair and stroke it from top to down to determine where the hair begins to be thinner.

If you reach the position of about 50% of the length of the hair bundle and the hair begins to be thinner, it is single drawn  hair.

If at 75% of the length of the hair, the hair becomes thinner, it could be double drawn hair.

If from top to bottom the thickness of the hair bundle does not change significantly, it is the super one.

Hold your hair horizontally and bend it: this will help determine how much or less of the hair is shorter than the rest.

If about 50% of the hair that is shorter comes out, you can say it is single-drawn  hair

If about 30% of the shorter hair comes out, it can be the double

It is the super if the amount of shorter hair coming out is very little

To be able to identify single, double and super double drawn  hair with the greatest certainty, it is best that you combine both methods.

3. Target customers for single, double drawn and super double drawn  hair

When buying  hair, customers from different markets will have different choices among the 3 grades of  hair, depending on their needs and economic conditions:

With single drawn  hair: People with low economic conditions, and African customers will often choose single drawn  hair. Moreover, many people prefer single drawn hair from hair suppliers in  because of its all-natural surface. As you are aware, natural hair growing from our scalp expands differently. The hair will come in a variety of lengths. As a result, single drawn  hair is the best option for customers looking for a natural finish. With double drawn hair: At an affordable price, double-drawn  hair is chosen by many beauty lovers to invest in their looks. European customers often choose this grade of hair extensions because they love thick hair but their natural hair is so thin. However, the price will be higher than for single-drawn hair, but the quality deserves what you pay for. With Super drawn  hair: this grade is chosen by customers who really love thick hair. With the highest quality compared to single and super double drawn, super double drawn hair is much more expensive, so it is the option for European customers and people with good economic conditions.
